Come join us for happy hour! Let’s celebrate spring! The CLE starts at 4:30PM followed by happy hour, snacks and the first drink is on WELA!

CLE Details

Seattle workers have some of the strongest protections in the nation.  Are you using these ordinances in your practice for Seattle employees? Jasmine Marwaha and Jeremiah Miller will review  some key Seattle Ordinances protecting employees, including an overview of new protections for domestic workers. They will also briefly discuss other ordinances, such as secured scheduling, wage theft, and paid sick leave.

Jasmine Marwaha is a Policy Analyst at the Seattle Office of Labor Standards focusing on domestic worker protections.

Jeremiah Miller is an Assistant City Attorney at the Seattle’s City Attorney’s Office responsible for litigation and advice related to the Office of Labor Standards.  Prior to working for the City, Jeremiah was a Senior Trial Attorney and Counsel for Civil Rights at the United States Department of Labor.
