Basic Facts and Claims: Plaintiff was employed for 15 years as a District Manager with responsibility for 20 stores. She complained repeatedly to Human Resources and upper manages about gender discrimination that she experienced and experienced by others. In retaliation senior management increased her sales projections beyond the recommendation by Albertsons’ Financial Manager which caused many metrics to low. She was terminated after she was unsuccessful in complying with a Personal Performance Plan which set goals which no District Manager achieved. She filed suit under Title VII and the WLAD alleging discrimination and retaliation. The Defendant alleged a failure to mitigate damages and after acquired evidence as affirmative defenses.

Damages Awarded: Damages Awarded: Back pay $375,000; Front pay $1,500,000; Emotional Distress $750,000; Punitive Damages $10,000,000.
